Conveniently located just minutes from Rotorua’s City centre you will find Skyline Rotorua. High on the side of Mount Ngongotaha, the Gondola will carry you to 487 metres above sea level to a stunning enviroment providing panoramic views of Rotorua City, Lake Rotorua, geothermal areas and the surrounding area.
Skyline Rotorua is an all weather attraction, and is open every day of the year. There’s also a fully licensed restaurant serving buffet lunches and dinners. And there’s also affordable Cafe style dining available.

Here you try your hand at luging! A world ‘first’ proudly designed and built in Rotorua, the Luge is a fun filled ride on a three-wheel cart. The unique braking and steering system provides you full control and allows you to travel as fast or slow as you wish. An exciting ride suitable for all ages.
Take the Scenic track for your firstluge ride (mandatory – this is for you to become accustomed to the workings of the luge cart). The Scenic track is a 2 kilometre run through the Redwood trees and you can stop at rest areas to take photos. Fun for all ages and children up to the age of 6 can be carried in tandem.

After mastering the Scenic track (mandatory for your first ride), follow on with your next four rides on the Intermediate and Advanced tracks to hone your skills on the luge. Be careful though, the rides are very addictive!
